Offida is a town rich in history, art and traditions, which characterize the settlement and its people. This pleasant area is a crossroads of cultures, myths and legends, rooted in the dawns of time.

The Cooperativa Oikos has been promoting Offida’s pillow lace production and its tourism and museum services sector since 1997.

In greater detail, the Cooperativa Oikos is responsible for opening and guided tours of some of Offida’s most important cultural sites, including the Palazzo De Castellotti museum complex, the Teatro Serpente Aureo,and the beautiful 14th-century church of Santa Maria Rocca, known in Italy and abroad for its unique features, which make it a leading local tourist attraction.

Over the years, the Cooperativa Oikos has devoted itself to promoting the town’s historical and cultural assets, managing them as a cultural resource. It organizes a series of events in partnership with the Offida municipal council, including tourist packages, guided tours (also available in various languages), and educational workshops for groups and school children, fairs and markets for the promotion of local crafts, conventions, conferences, art exhibitions and concerts, as well as managing a number of other museums.

The Cooperativa Oikos firmly believes in the combination of history, art, culture, and local traditions that has made Offida one of the most visited destinations in the province, especially over recent years.
