The Museo Sistino di Arte Sacra in Rotella tells the Sistine history of this small municipality which, in 1586, was incorporated into the stronghold of Montalto delle Marche by Sixtus V.
The museum is housed in Palazzo Ciccolini and conserves priceless reliquaries, most of which were donated to the community by Bishop Ariodante Ciccolini, originally from Rotella.
